Adding a scanner to a PocketPC device allows you to:

• Quickly & Easily scan VIN barcodes
• Accurately pull up the correct year, make, model, bodystyle and trim level (most vehicles) on the vehicle you are appraising.
• Save valuable time in the auction lanes or on the lot

    REQUIREMENTS: PocketPC device with Compact Flash slot, Galves application,
    scanner software(required on Windows Mobile5 devices only).

We recommend the Socket 5P Scanner which is available from many retailers online. Barcodes are located on the driver's door jamb or under the windshield in front of the steering wheel (GM vehicles). Please note that the scanner reads the barcode and NOT the actual VIN number digits.
