This year marks the 52nd anniversary of Galves Auto Price List and for that we would like

Galves Auto Price List Volume 1 Number 1
The first edition of Galves published on January 11, 1957 contained 16 pages of used car
values on “everything American” …from Studebakers to Kaisers to those classic Chevy Bel
Airs and Ford Thunderbirds!
Foreign Cars Edition, May 1958 Vol 2 Number 1
This edition was published during a time when “Foreign” cars were exactly that to most dealers.
Early marketing literature for our Foreign Cars Edition cited a 7% market share for foreign vehicles…
how times have changed!
American Used Cars Edition April 5, 1974
America had just survived its first gas crisis, Watergate and inflation were on everybody’s
mind and many of those late-60’s/early 70’s muscle cars could be had for a song. If only we
knew then what we know now!
